The one line difference
A monthly allowance you may not use, against leads you actually took.
Scrap.io is a lead generation platform for searching, exporting and enriching business location data from Google Maps. Its pricing page listed Basic at EUR 49 a month for 10,000 credits, Professional at EUR 99 for 20,000, Agency at EUR 199 for 40,000 and Company at EUR 499 for 100,000 on monthly billing, with cheaper yearly equivalents at EUR 35, EUR 69, EUR 139 and EUR 350 a month, an enterprise tier called Atlas from EUR 5,000 a month, and monthly credits that do not roll over.
LeadFindr has no plan to choose. A lead that comes back with an email, a phone number or a social profile costs 0.25 credits, about $0.025 at the $0.10 top up price of a credit. A lead with none of those is free. Nothing expires at the end of a month because nothing was allocated to a month.

When Scrap.io is the better buy
A monthly allowance is the right shape for some teams.
- You search constantly. If you burn a five figure credit allowance every month, an allowance is cheaper per row than paying per lead.
- You want country wide or very large radius pulls. Its upper tiers sell exactly that, including polygon and country level scope.
- You want an API and an MCP endpoint today. Scrap.io lists both. LeadFindr has neither yet, and saying otherwise would be a lie.
- Your workflow is export first, decide later. A big export sitting in a spreadsheet is a different job from a short list you are about to contact.
When LeadFindr is the better buy
Nothing to allocate, nothing to lose at the end of the month.
- Your usage is lumpy. Two busy months and a quiet one is the pattern that punishes a non rolling allowance hardest.
- You want to be billed for outcomes. A row with nothing on it is not an outcome, and here it is not a charge either.
- You want the person, not just the place. LeadFindr returns the decision maker with a LinkedIn profile and a verified work email where one is found.
- You do not want a tier to decide what you may search. There is one LeadFindr, and the only rate difference is the Champions Circle rate of 0.20 credits a lead.
About the live check
Both talk about fresh data. The difference is when the check happens.
Real time is a word both categories use, and it is worth being precise. LeadFindr opens the business's own website while your search is running and reads the contact details from that page, then drops the business if the site is dead or the business has closed. That is the same second you asked, not a recent refresh of a stored index.
If your objection to bought lists was that the data was true once and is not true now, that timing is the thing to compare, and it is the reason a LeadFindr search takes longer than a database query.
Questions People Actually Ask.
Is LeadFindr cheaper than Scrap.io?
For occasional or bursty searching, yes, because there is no monthly fee and empty rows are free. For a team that consumes a large credit allowance every single month, an allowance priced from EUR 49 is cheaper per row. Scrap.io prices checked 15 September 2026.
Do LeadFindr credits expire?
Credits sit on your DM Champ balance and are spent per lead. There is no monthly allowance to lose, which is the opposite of a plan whose credits do not roll over.
Does LeadFindr have an API?
No. There is no public API and no MCP server today. If that is a requirement, it is a reason to pick a different tool right now.
Do both use Google Maps data?
Both start from Google Maps business listings. LeadFindr then opens each business's own website at search time to take the contact details from the page itself.
