Create an email agent

The agent decides what your offer is and how the emails sound.

On the Agents tab, create an agent with the guided setup: enter Your website and click Find pages. Your site's pages are listed with the most useful ones already ticked; keep the ones the agent should learn from (they also go into its knowledge). Build my agent stays greyed out until at least one page is ticked. Optionally add anything the website does not say, then press Build my agent. On the review, change the Agent name and the Email language if you like, and what it wrote under Your offer, Who is writing and What the emails say, then Save agent: the agent's full editor opens on its Test tab so you can try it before a campaign uses it. A new agent starts paused.

The first email states your offer with its terms, so check that the agent's info has your real prices and terms before a campaign uses it.

Pick or build a strategy

How many emails, how many days apart, what each one says.

Three strategies come ready to use: Straight offer, Question first and Short and dry. Duplicate and edit any of them, or write your own. Generate with AI drafts one for you: pick the Agent, optionally a Campaign and a Goal, and how many Follow ups. The draft opens unsaved in the editor for you to check. Drafting a strategy uses AI credits.

Each email has an instruction for the AI, and can also hold your own text word for word, which is what goes out when a campaign has AI personalization off. The first email never carries a link; a follow up may carry one when that step allows it.

Every strategy shows its results over every campaign that used it: Leads started, Emails sent, Replies, Interested, Unsubscribed and Bounces. Under 30 leads it says Too early to call. Tick 2 to 4 strategies and Compare shows them side by side.

Create a share link gives a public page anyone can open without signing in, with every email's day, wait, instructions and text. Your links, email, phone, company and agent names show as fill ins; your results, leads and agent are never shown. New link replaces it, Stop sharing turns it off. A signed in visitor can press Copy to my strategies and fill in their own details.

Test your agent

Play the lead and see what it would send. Nothing goes out.

Open the agent from Autopilot, Agents and go to its Test tab, or press Test on the agent's card. Pick one of your saved leads or make one up (a name, company, website and city), choose the strategy or campaign the emails come from (a campaign also brings its mailbox and booking link), and tick Read their website first if you want the same research brief a real campaign writes. Then press Show what my agent would send.

You see the research brief, the first email with its subject and every follow up of the strategy with the day it would go out. An email the autopilot would hold for your review is marked Would wait for your review, with the reason. Then reply as the lead: your agent answers the way it would a real lead, and you see how the reply would be sorted (Interested, Not now, Not interested, Unsubscribe, Out of office or Other). As in a real campaign, a reply stops the sequence, so the later follow ups are marked Would not go out.

Nothing is sent and no lead or contact is created. The first 60 test runs each day are free (each research, email or reply the agent writes is one run); after that the test keeps working and each AI step uses 0.25 credits. Emails you wrote yourself are always free. The test uses your published agent, so save and publish your changes first to test them. Actions such as booking a meeting are not carried out in a test.

Launch a campaign

Four steps on the Campaigns tab.

Leads: pick A saved search (newest first, with its date), The leads I selected, or A CSV file. The leads are checked as soon as you pick them, and you see how many will be emailed and why the others are skipped:

  • Only leads with a verified email are emailed. Include catch-all addresses adds addresses whose mail server accepts anything.
  • Shared mailboxes like info@ and sales@ are skipped unless you tick Include shared mailboxes like info@ and sales@.
  • German and Austrian addresses (.de, .at) are skipped, because cold business email there needs consent first. You can include them on purpose.
  • UK leads on a personal mailbox (Gmail, Outlook and so on) get a warning: UK rules treat those as individuals.
  • Leads on do not disturb, or whose address bounced before, are always skipped.
  • Leads you already emailed are skipped unless you tick Email leads I already contacted before.

Mailboxes: tick up to ten. Each extra mailbox adds up to 20 emails a day once it is warmed up, and you see about how many first emails go out a day and when every lead has had one. Strategy and agent: pick both (only your email agents are listed), see the strategy's emails day by day, choose AI personalization on or off, and see what the campaign will cost. Tick Test a second strategy (A/B) to split the leads evenly between two strategies. Check and launch: What happens next says when the first emails start and from which addresses, and about when the last follow up goes out. See real first emails for leads on this list, keep Check the first 10 emails before they go out on, and press Launch campaign. While a step is not complete, a short line next to Next says what is missing.

Quicker: in Find Leads or Saved Leads, tick leads (Select leads with a verified email helps) and press Email with Autopilot. A new campaign opens with those leads picked.

CSV files

Bring your own list.

Column names the CSV import understands
ColumnNames it understands
Email (required)email, email address, mail
Namename, full name, contact name, first name
Companycompany, company name, business, business name, organisation, organization
Websitewebsite, url, site, domain
Locationlocation, address, city, country
Verificationverification, verification status, email status, status, verified

Capitals, spaces, dashes and dots in the column names don't matter. Every other column is kept as a fact about the lead, which the AI may use and your own email text can fill in. Up to 1,000 leads and 2 MB per file. Only rows marked verified, valid, ok, deliverable or good in the verification column are emailed, so a file without that column sends to nobody: run your list through a verifier first and include its result.

Checking the first emails

Nothing goes out unseen until you trust it.

The first 10 emails of a campaign wait on its Review tab (set 0 to 50 in the strategy). Approve each one, edit it and Save and approve, or Reject it (it asks first: a rejected email is not sent, its credits are refunded and that lead gets no more emails from the campaign). An email also waits there when it Did not pass the checks after one rewrite (too long, a link in a first email, too close to an email sent before) or when it Mentions something unverified that is not in your agent's info or the lead's facts.

Research brief and AI personalization

Written from their own website, or your own words.

Before a lead's first email the autopilot reads their homepage plus one about or services page and writes a short Research brief: what they do, who they serve, a few exact quotes from their site and one or two ideas for the opening line. The emails may quote those lines word for word; nothing else from the site is claimed. If the site does not load, the brief says Facts only and the emails use only what the lead list says. You see it on the review card and in the Inbox lead panel.

Switch AI personalization off and every lead gets the emails you wrote, with {first_name}, {company}, {city} or any other lead fact filled in. A missing detail reads as a neutral word: there, your business, your area. Nothing is researched or written by the AI, so these emails cost no credits. Sending hours, limits, checking the first emails, the footer, unsubscribe and threading stay the same.

What the lead receives

Short, plain, personal.

  • The first email: plain text, 50 to 120 words, a 2 to 6 word subject, no links, your offer with its terms and one yes or no question.
  • Follow ups: replies in the same thread, at most 160 words each, on the days the strategy sets.
  • Your company name and postal address at the bottom of every email.
  • A one-click unsubscribe that mail apps such as Gmail show next to the sender.

On the campaign page, Pause and Resume hold or release everything, and a line at the top says when one of its mailboxes cannot send and what to fix. The Leads tab lists every lead as Waiting, Sent, Replied, Unsubscribed, Bounced or Not sent, with its mailbox and next email, and lets you pause or stop one lead or open its thread. Add leads takes a saved search or a CSV into a running campaign after the same checks. An A/B campaign shows both strategies side by side; Keep A or Keep B moves the other side's leads that have not started yet to the winner. Leads already in a sequence keep going, and it can't be undone.

FAQ

Questions People Actually Ask.

What is the research brief in the LeadFindr autopilot?

A short note the autopilot writes from the lead's homepage and one about or services page before their first email: what they do, who they serve, exact quotes and opener ideas. It costs 0.25 credits once per lead, and nothing when their site does not load.

What does AI personalization off do?

Every lead gets the emails you wrote in the strategy, with their name, company, city or any other lead fact filled in. No research and no AI writing, so the emails cost no credits.

Which CSV columns does the autopilot import?

An email column is required. It also reads name, company, website, location and a verification column, under common names. Other columns become lead facts. Only rows marked verified are emailed.

Can I test my LeadFindr email agent before launching a campaign?

Yes. The Test tab on every email agent lets you play the lead: it shows the research brief, the first email and every follow up, then answers a reply you write and shows how it would be sorted. Nothing is sent. The first 60 test runs each day are free, then each AI step uses 0.25 credits. It uses your published agent.

Can I check the emails before they go out?

Yes. The first 10 emails of every campaign wait on its Review tab for you to approve, edit or reject. You can set anything from 0 to 50 in the strategy.
